Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Matcha Spice Waffles
Matcha is an amazing superfood to add to your diet. When it comes to health benefits, matcha contains antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that deliver health benefits no other food, drink, or traditional green tea can. There are so many ways to add matcha to your diet other than as a drink in the morning.
It is important when you are choosing a matcha powder that you opt for the ceremonial grade in order to get all the nutritional benefits.
Gluten-free waffles can be tricky- it is hard to get that light fluffy texture that makes a traditional Belgian waffle so good. The texture of these waffles however is amazing! Plus the almond flour and protein powder add some extra protein to level your blood sugar spike and keep you fuller longer.
